To think that I used to rush through this beautiful region without stopping! It has so much to offer for people and children of all ages. Its constantly changing coastal scenery is magnificent. Its celtic traditions,Breton fetes etc come alive in summer.

Old Farm is close to stunning scenery and monuments, market towns, coastal villages, creeks and quite unbelievable chateaus. The photo gallery on this site is mostly concerned with Goelo Coast area in which Old Farm is situated but is accessible to all gites.
This coast stretches from St Brieuc upto Paimpol taking in the lovely resorts of Binic,St Quay,Palus,Plage Bonaparte,Brehec and contless headlands with enormous views. The Ile de Brehat is its northern limit and what a visit this is! Boats called vedettes ply to and from the Pointe de l'Arcouest every 15 mins in summer, to this island which has no cars - just bicycles and a few tractors. Its Mediterranean style micro climate gives rise to great plants and flowers. All these lovely resorts are only 5 - 15 minutes away from Old Farm and the Granary.
The Cote de Goelo includes the beautiful sea estuary of the Trieux which reaches deep into the countryside giving Pontrieux a most unusual sea access via massive deep sea locks all on a 8 min walk from Fisherman's cottage.
Pretty Pontrieux and port is very lively, has flower strewn squares, restaurants.

This is accessed via Lannion which is the gateway to unbelievable pink granite geology of Trebeurden,Ile Grande,Tregastel,Ploumanach and Perros Guirec. In Ploumanach the monster lava boulders most impress with houses and restaurants interwoven amongst them! This is only 40 mins from Old Farm.
